I promised I would work on doing this so I can get used to working with the "blog" stuff. Well, last night was challenging here at home after a "nice day"! Two of our dogs decided to sniff around at the edge of the pasture and stirred up a SKUNK that decided to SPRAY both of them on the belly and legs! It was the worst case of spraying I've ever dealt with personally! Gave them a bath outside, which toned down the smell SOME, but gave them another bath again here today when we got home from a birthday party. HOPEFULLY my BED won't smell like SKUNK...hey! Maybe I won't smell like SKUNK either! If you don' know what a skunk is...check out this pic. This isn't the skunk that sprayed the dogs, but this is what they look like! The nickname for a skunk is a "white-stripped cat". Ok, at least that what DOGS think they are...until it's too late to get away and get hit by a horrific odor that just lingers for a week or longer! PEPPY-La-Pew is another nickname I grew up hearing.
